The Government's Duty

The issue of homeless in this nation has to be dealt with by individual cities, county governments, state governments and non-profit organizations. They will have to work together to press this issue financially and get these shelters and permanent housing set up not only for the children which should come first but also for the elderly and disabled and then for the homeless adults. The non-profit organizations should be federally funded throughout the United States to solve this problem.

Many in some political circles disagree with GOD's heart to care for the poor.
I am not persuaded by the powerful or any political agenda. My opinions are guided by the word of God & the Holy Spirit!

Whose responsibility is it to care for the poor?

1. The Governments Duty
"It is the duty of the governments, whether monarchical or democratic to be public servants and to help the poor and needy" Post Script of Psalms 72:12:14 Spirit Filled Life Bible
Psalm 72:12-14 (King James Version)
"For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight."

2. The Church's Duty
1 John 3:17
James 1:27

3. It is the Duty of the Family to care for the poor
1 Timothy 5:4

Should Preachers who share, teach or minister the Gospel in word & in Deed (walk the talk) be worthy of pay?
1 Timothy 5:18

Do you object to television preachers? Let me give you a testimony that may change your views on that. My car broke down in 2008 and I didn't have the money to fix it. I was living in a rural area of Mid Missouri near a very tiny town when that happened.
Then in September of 2009 they found a tumor on my spine. If it had not been for television miniseries it is quite possible that I wouldn't even be serving the Lord right now. That is really an understatement for the true impact that television ministries have had on building and sustaining my faith in Christ Jesus.
